This year we will be out on Saturday only. My daughter will be home from
college for the weekend, so I want to have some time to spend with her. Plus,
spending two days on the road with minimal sleep time is pushing things for us,
especially for my partner W8DRZ, whose sleep schedule is already screwed up
because during the week he gets up about 2 a.m. to start work at 4 a.m.

My daughter is getting a ride from Virginia to Cranberry, in Butler county.
So my partner W8DRZ and I will drive two cars there, so she can drive one back
to Cleveland. Then we will take off to do these counties:

ARM, INN, CMB, SOM, BED, BLA, HUN, CEN, CLE, ELK, JEF, FOR, CLA, VEN, MER.

We might also include some rover operation along with the mobile. This is
dependent, among other things, on the weather. We're not excited about setting
up dipoles in the rain. But it we do rover, this year we have a separate W3
call lined up to use. So you won't have to worry about /M, /R, or MR/M/R. We
will pick out the rarer places to do stop and do a rover operation.

BTW, in last year's dual mobile/rover effort using one call, we kept only one
log per county, and sorted out the mobile and rover qsos afterward. So we
did not work anybody as both rover and mobile (on the same band/mode) from the
same county. In practice, the mobile was mostly CW, and the rover was mostly
SSB. This year the mobile operation will be still mostly CW, but we may do a
bit more CW from the rover stops.

See you Saturday!
