[PaQSO] PaQP Meet-N-Greet

Gentlemen/Ladies;
Since the posting, by K3CM, of the proposed attendance of PaQP Officials at
the Bloomsburg, Pa. Hamfest, we (JVARC) have received numerous inquiries
concerning the plans and/or schedule for our Hamfest.

The Juniata Valley ARC (JVARC) Hamfest, Lewistown, Pa.,  WILL PROCEED AS
SCHEDULED on Aug. 7, 2004.  In addition to all information (previously
circulated) regarding our Hamfest, and at the suggestion of many prospective
attendees, the following facilities will be provided for the proposed "PaQP
Meet-n-Greet" :

 A Semi-Private Picnic-Pavillion, (Meeting Place) under roof, with numerous
picnic tables.  The pavillion is located within 20 paces of the "Cook-House"
restaurant, and an "I.D. Banner" for the pavillion has been fabricated.   A
"Bulletin Board" for the posting of pictures and/or QSL cards, and a
"sign-in" clipboard will be provided at the pavillion.  Additionally, a G5RV
antenna will be erected, and a power-supply will be in-place for anyone who
wishes to provide their own HF Rig/Antenna Tuner.

Any requests for additional information regarding any/all
Camping/Lodging/Tourism/Recreation/Historic Attractions/ other facilities,
and directions to/from, will honored promptly. Please direct such requests
to wb3ivx@localnet.com.

Again, we (JVARC) are a small Radio Club, in a small town, with a small town
atmosphere, and small town friendliness !  Our Hamfest goal IS NOT to be the
BIGGEST, rather "The Most Friendly, Enjoyable & Memorable" for those who
choose to honor us with their attendance !
