Obsolutely positively.
But jeepers, completely ingoring the comments that have been made here over
the past week or two on this issue?
Do we not, at a minimum, deserve a, "Hey, we're working on it" or
"Everything except the dates will be the same" kind of comment?
Is that too much to ask? How much does that take? Even if it has to be run
by the board of directors of the NARC.
I repeat what I said yesterday.......I doubt very much if there will be
much, if any, negative impact on the event........but still......
Ok....put me on the NARC you know what list.

I'm sure they are like most clubs, and have to run any changes and other
stuff through a club meeting first. So maybe they are waiting for the
September Meeting... For instance, from the NARC web page:
"Monthly Meetings:
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm usually
at the South Hills Business School Campus at 480 Waupelani Drive, State
College. Talk-in on the 146.85 repeater. The Board of Directors meet on
the 4th Tuesday of the month, at the mountaintop site, or at the home of
W3JXP, and all are welcome at these meetings. "
So maybe after next Tuesday's board of directors meeting, we'll hear
something?
Just a side comment, I don't think it's very nice to call anyone from the
PAQSO party organizers "unprofessional." Please consider that this is a
hobby, and everyone has a lot of other responsibilities and everyone
should keep this in mind. The organizers run the QSO party for fun, and
negative comments do not make it fun.
