'tis a shame to always move these discussions off list so quickly!

Anyhow, considering that there was a small pre-contest clamor from a few
requesting that one or more digital modes be added to the PaQP, I think a
Digital-Modes (not just RTTY) Pa QP -- or for that matter MAQP -- would be
an interesting idea.

Finding a date would be a challenge, but aside from that, I would agree with
Joe that following the same basic rules would be advantageous (wonder how
many mobiles or rovers you'd get though?)  Two suggestsions, though:

First, at least for the first time, keep it relatively short (like Saturday
afternoon & evening) to see what the turn out is like.

Second, decide what modes, if any, would count separately.  I'd suggest that
RTTY (by that I mean Baudot, any speed) and PSK31 would count as two
separate modes. Probably some form of AMTOR & it's derivatives/successors
too.  I could argue that some of the additional ones that are coming out,
like PSK64 and such too, but you may have to draw a line somewhere or you'd
have 250+ different modes and not enough ops in any one to make it
worthwhile.

Since the MAQP now has it own group, i like to know if anyone would be
interested in something compleately diffrent then the normal PA QSO party we
have every year. That is what if we have RTTY PA QSO Party? i was thinking
something with the same rules excluding 160. If anyone is interested please
