I'm not in favor of 'Sprints'.

I would suggest a little shorter test, however.

How about   Noon to Mdt  Sat.  (local time, of course)
    then        9AM to 3PM Sun.
for a total of 18 hours.

Also, make it a standard date, like the first FULL 
weekend in May. This of course if it is going to 
be a regular thing. But, don't let it interfere with
Mothers Day ! ! ! ! ! !
