I have to agree with Ray on the signal report as part of the
exchange....it's so automatic that most contest software defaults it in
place without having to touch a key. No value. On the other hand, when I
tune across W3TDF or WA3SES, I stop to listen to the serial number they're
handing out, which gives me a bit of an idea where I stand. And with these
guys, you need to watch their every move. hi hi

Regards.

I've been reading all the other comments, AND,
I've been thinking, (so now you are all in trouble).

If a 12 hour test,
not much difference if single or multi-op, anyone can
    do 12 hours.
    I don't like the 15 out of 18 or 24. It makes a more
   difficult logging program anyway.

No signal reports, PLEASE. They have no value. (In the
VHF tests they give only 'gridsquares' without signal
reports. Serial reports OK with me.

One QSO per band, (either CW or PH, but not both).
It would make the programmers job a little simpler.

I like the Medium power limitation.

If mobiles compete against mobiles, (QRP against other
QRP, Rover against rover, etc), then no need for
    extra points or mults.

The 5 letter location designator sounds interesting. It
should make for some real headaches getting the
    ones from the weak contacts.

I like May. If it's in winter I'll operate from home. If in
the Spring then I'll be in some campground with a
   trapped dipole

It sure looks like a good deal of interest is showing.
Good Luck. a n d NO, I WILL NOT RUN IT.
