I also had the pleasure of working a few stations in the "warm up" this
morning. Nice to know that after a few months of storage, the TS-140 (which
will be the N3SH back up rig) still works, and the AV4 vertical that KA3UPY
performs after a quick throw-together re-assembly!

I know I was able to startle at least one smart-a... alec this morning. He
thought it was a big joke that we were trying to operate (that is, WN3BOJ &
I -- we did this at the WACOM hamfest this morning, and it did attract
attention to our tables when we were QRV!) until I showed him the log...

By the way, on a related note, the first set of operators for the NP2SH
DXpedition are down there and went on the air Friday night. I understand
that they worked over 400 stations in the CaQP, er, warm-up contest on
Saturday. And if anyone wants to work them during the week, check 0130Z on
or about 14.340 MHz, propagation willing.

I operated the PA QSO Party warm up contest this weekend (CQP). Conditions
were great! I found a major problem with my antenna system during the
warmup, which I was able to fix. I am so glad I found it this weekend rather
than next!

Here are the plans I have seen as of 10/5.
