After reading the discussions on this subject, I went and played with
entering in KA3JWE's program, the following ways:
For instance, I could enter:
K8MR/R/M, and it would accept the entry.
If I entered K8MR/M/R, it would accept the entry. However, it not show
as as dupe, even in the same county.
I also tried:
K8MR/RM, and it would accept the entry.
If I entered K8MR/MR, itwould accept the entry. Also with the same
results as above.
However, with this callsign, it would seem like you are repeating
yourself, especially with /MR.
So, it would seem one would have to sign as K8MR/R/M consistantly, and
hope the peole log you exactly as you sent it.
However, I think the best solution to this matter is to open up two
programs and click between the different windows and
log two different types of operation. To avoid confusion as to which
program you are running,. arrange the logging
window, county abreviations, scoreing window differently, to disinguish
the two different modes of operation. Who knows,
maybe your might win in one of the two catagories. By the way, fwiw, I
think KA3JWE's program is a great one to use
for the PAQSO. Don has worked out all the bugs with tis program, and I
have been using it for a few years now..
Just my $0.02 worth.....
