[PaQSO] Change is good!

An earlier reply to the concept of adding RTTY/PSK to PQP mentioned
concerns that "40m is busy enough on Saturday night". With all due
respect, RTTY and/or PSK exist on other bands as well. 20m and 15m
may give our OOS and DX entries an additional and viable means of
competing in PQP. 80m, 40m and 10m are also ripe for the picking.

Additionally, adding a "digital" component to PQP is progressive. Looking
back as far as the 1993 PQP results, (...yes, I have every NARC mailing),
I see an enormous amount of "SSB only" entries. Why do so many stations
avoid CW?

The results also show that stations who work SSB and CW tend (by
percentage) to do better than SSB Ops alone. The caveat is the "CW Only"
Ops who fair very well time and time again. A digital mode may give the
SSB-only Ops more fire-power and even give CW Ops something to chew on as
well.

... By the way... if you are working CW on 7080 or higher on Saturday
night... you might just consider yourself at least 30kHz into loneliness.

Just my three cents,
