[PaQSO] TV advertisement for Ham Radio

Hello to all,

I hope you all are enjoying the fine Spring weather.  My golf clubs are now
in the car as a permanent fixture as you never know when a game might pop
up.

Anyway, did anyone else happen to catch the advertisement last week on TV
for becoming an amateur radio operator?  I can't recall what channel it was
on but it could very well have been an ad local to the Pittsburgh area.  It
caught me by surprise so I didn't get all the details but I believe the ARRL
was the sponsor.   

During one segment they showed a young lady being shaken out of a sleep by
the rumbling of her bed from what I assume was an earthquake.  She
immediately grabbed her HT, which was of course located on the night stand
beside her bed, and started calling.  Actually it was a very decent
advertisement.    

Did anyone catch it?  I'd say our hobby is moving up in the world.  Now, if
they could get Tiger Woods to be the spokesperson........
