What is wrong?  Incessant tinkering, typically to the advantage of the person 
making the suggestion, and the inevitable detriment of someone else is what's 
wrong!  

Every suggestion I've seen advanced here in the last few days would benefit 
some scores and hurt others.  Is that how we win contests in the 21st 
Century--by changing to rules to fit our own strengths and preferences?  

Guess I'm a dinosaur, I thought that a good score resulted from a combination 
of good antennas, a good radio, great operating skills and staying in the 
chair, not by being a "contest lawyer"
