MessageSorry if this appears off-topic, but many of you also knew Hilory
W3HBC ex K3VMG.

The last year I operated full-blown from Greene County, which was 1992 (OK,
so it ended up being a mobile for Sunday but that's another story), Hilory
worked me, heard I was having some trouble getting my 100 W mobile signal
heard, and helped me keep the frequency clear enough to work a bunch of
people. And that's just one of the many things he did for me. I have and
will miss him.

Subject: Hilory Cox W3HBC - SK

A few minutes ago I received a phone call from a Mrs. Walker of Murrysville,
who was a friend of Hilory Cox W3HBC formerly of Murrysville PA, who
confirmed that he had died sometime today in his sleep at his home in Austin
Texas, where he lived with his father. No other details are known at this
time. Hilory used to call me by phone regularly, and did so last Sunday. I
will mist him.
