Hi Tim,

Actually I agree with what Bill and you have written.  Actually, come to 
think about it, there should be no extra points for any contact.  One contact 
is one point.  Yes, I know that an extra 1.5 and 2 points are to encourage CW 
operation, but is that necessary?

I'm located in a very competitive county (Erie) and usually, the success of 
my entry is measured by how well I did as compared to last year.  Then I 
check to see how I did compared to others in my county, and then compared to 
others in my category.  

It's fun and I enjoy it.  Guess that's what it is all about.  If I needed 
wallpaper so badly, I would have moved to a hill years ago and put up some 
stacked arrays.  :-)
