Jim is absolutely right.  That freq is too low and not many folks get down 
that low.  As I remember, I set that frequency right after we were allowed 
down there and also something about the novice band.  (I am getting old and 
the memory fades fast!)  But now with 10 meters being only marginal at best, 
good idea to get the frequency close to the prime activity area.

I would suggest that the frequency be moved up and be compatible with the 10 
meter freqs used by other contests.  

Jim, what is used for Michigan and Ohio?

Talk it over guys and give K3CM a jingle when you have a consensus.

Just put the 80 meter antenna up another 20 feet higher so listen for me in 
October.
