My first operation was portable from Mother in law's attic in CMB. only =
enough power for QRP and no computer stuff. Shot a 40m vee out the attic =
window slopped it down tied it off from the ground. Got bit by the PaQSO =
bug. Ran same the next year worked a sweep dumb luck. This year fresh =
out of the Hospital went mobile sort of we camped near home to get away =
and some much needed rest. I operated from the E van with hamsticks and =
bug catcher. Went to Tioga Potter line in major rotten rain Sunday AM =
I'm not allowed to drive or dress myself thank God xyl is WB3GQC so I =
had a driver who understood. W3FRC spotted for me. I begged for stations =
people were telling me to stand by while they work the big guns who were =
on all weekend I had two hours at that site. Who ever heard of telling a =
mobile to stand by? It wasn't that I wasn't heard! I have now tested my =
pacemaker/defibulator on 160 thru 440 it still has its program still =
works will exposted to 100 Watts Doc say not to go any higher in power. =
He said I should cultivate my interest in QRP would make him happier. =
Electrophysiologist are funny that way. If this thing keeps me alive =
WA3CSP will be back next year. Leave the rules alone. Larry
