RON:

I like and respect Blair too....but I was not in any way attacking Blair...I 
was taking issue with Blair's argument that QTCs are a bad idea because they 
are uncommon in contests generally and his further observation that the WAE 
is not well-visited by American Hams...which at least implies that American 
Hams do not like QTCs because they are of a foreign origin.   

Blair took me to task for my advocacy of QTCs and I answered based on his 
critisisms.  Is that NOT my right to do, dear Ron?  Or am I supposed to allow 
my own postions to suffer one blow after another in this arena while offering 
no defense to them?   You certainly offer robust defense to what YOU believe, 
why do you seek to deny that perogative to me?    

We are debating a concept here, not personalities....and anything and 
everything we say is open to critisism.  Simply because I I take a man's 
argument to task does not mean I am attacking the man.

As for my reputation...I have harmed no one, done nothing wrong, and played 
by the rules of fair debate.

There is no harm to anyone's reputation in that.
