[PaQSO] KD8MQ/3 - observations from the weekend

Hi everyone,

I cant begin to tell you what a great time I had. This was a great weekend!
My pictures have been developed, and are on the web page at
http://www.qsl.net/kd8mq/paqso/pqp2k2/pqp2k2.htm . We came back from PA
heavy by one kitten. We haven't named her yet, but we're leaning towards CQ.
Of course that means we'll have to name the next one "Contest".

My prediction was right! By the time I came home, the XYL had painted the
bedroom.

Here's some funny moments from last weekend:

A fellow was managing a huge pileup on either 40, or 80 (very well, I might
add), who was obviously suffering from sleep deprivation:

"OK, the three station only!"

Next, we have someone who seems very resistant to any change in his routine.

Station 1: CQ CONTEST FROM <call withheld> QRZ?
Station 2: What's your call?
Station 1: This is <call withheld>
Station 2: You go
Station 1: Pardon me?
Station 2: You go
Station 1: Excuse me?
Station 2: You give your info first.
Station 1: Oh, I thought you were talking about the car.

verbatim.)
