Greetings All !!!
I am just flipping thru all the emails of stations
who I have less points than me and that list may get bigger !!!
N3 Carbon Radio has arrived !! I want to thank all the stations
that were out there. Never did switch to 160m due to rain at the
time of changing coax. This is my personal best over the past 13
years of putting Carbon County on the air. It was great working
Doug W3HDH/9 and Anne KO3M. I may have taken the Carbon County
low power spot this year. I have to go some to keep up with
Glenn K3PP Hi power burn down the woods station. Jack KB3AGZ
will have to settle for third but put in quite a valiant effort.
If you didn't work CARBON COUNTY you were sleeping!! Here's the
tots:

                     Band cw ssb w3frc

           Grand Total 93 321 = 414 bonus x 2
CLAIMED SCORE 53,265 points !!!!

Conclusion: Thanks Doug W3HDH/9 and the NARC gang for building a
strong foundation. Please do not change it. I DO NOT CLAIM TO
BE A CW CONTESTER !! This was the fourth contest I participated
in this year. CW was a challenge but fun. (Why do so many
extras only work phone?) My 100 watt signal was able to hold a
frequency on 40m SSB no matter the QRM. Must be the "magic wire"
antenna. I do not use a 1000mp !! I do things the hard way.
W3FRC had a fabulous 40m ssb signal. Groundwave was the magic
and my low dipoles came thru. I could not break a ssb pileup but
was told I had a very respectable signal on all bands regardless
of one report of rf on the signal. Perhaps we were too close!!
My monitor did not flicker and computer did not lock up. I beat
a lot of contest regulars, had a lot of fun between Qrm.
Thanks Anne KO3M for being out there. Anne is a regular trooper
no matter the obstacles. Thanks Goody K3NG/qrp for York !! That
was a thrill !! Many would not even think of running a contest
from my Qth. If I never work another Pa Qso Party, this one
will long be remembered. Thanks to everyone .
