Jay,
If you will be sitting in the vehicle, capable of running true mobile, then
you're a mobile. I did that one year -- operated several hours "mobile"
sitting in the driver's seat (1992 from Greene), and then activated two
not-very-rare (Washington & Allegheny) as a "true mobile" while driving home
late that afternoon.
Probably easiest on you if you keep one log, just note when you switch
counties.

Hi All,
Since I won't be able to put in a full effort this year (Saturday is shot),
I
will probably head into LAW, MER, and possibly CRA for a while on Sunday.
I won't be moving all the time since I'll be the only driver, so I can't
claim mobile.
I will be using my mobile equipment, rig and screwdriver antenna so can't
claim /R.
I won't be in it to compete, only to activate these counties for everyone
else.
So my questions are these.
Do I have to keep a separate log for each county?
Should I sign /LAW, /MER, and /CRA similar to a rover? -or-
Should I not even bother keeping a log?
Are there any rules saying I Can't do this type of operation?
Will anyone even want these counties Sunday to make it worth my bother?
Does the PAQ not want anyone doing this type of op? The rules seem to avoid
it.
This effort is for everyone else, so no flames, flares, or frags!
73,
Jay - AA8QQ
