[PaQSO] Thanks

Thanks to all the portable and mobile operations that came to Somerset =
county.  Many years I could not work my own county.  I try to enlist the =
help of other Somerset County hams but the interest just isn't there.  =
That's a great thing about our hobby though, something for everyone.  I =
really enjoy the PA QSO party.  I know its a contest, but it doesn't =
have the contest atmosphere.  Rather a family reunion atmosphere.  =
Thanks to all operators that helped me get my first sweep after many =
years of fun.  I don't always have time to spend operating but always =
look forward to it and have fun while I'm on.  Maybe sometime I'll spend =
more time with it.  I expect to retire next year or sometime in the near =
future.  I just have too much fun at work.

I suppose if there are changes in the contest we will all adapt.  I like =
it the way it is.  I can handle it this way.  I can also change.  It can =
be fun no matter what the rules are.  I am the one that decides it will =
be fun for me. =20
