I would like to thank the Radio Assn of Erie for the WPA Medium Power
Plaque.

I've been trying to win that thing for 10 years...finally made it.

Thanks to all RAE's, both for sponsorship and all the Q's and all others
that had a Q with me.

As some you know, but most don't, I suffered through a 2 hour 40 minute
power outage at the start of last falls contest, and "suffered" is the
appropriate word. Given the quality of competition in WPA low power
category, to have been able to come back from missing the first 10% of the
contest and win is very, very satisfying. There may well be a little story
in the next NCJ about my experience in this one. Watch for it...
