Doug,
Most of the mobiles seemed to be stuck on 40 SSB
or 2 FM from what I heard. 20 & above was pretty
lite. Tidewater and Northern Neck counties/cities
were pretty hard to come by too!
FYI, I had 27 PA QSOs out of 359 in the VA QSO
Party. Here is an interesting break down of
my contacts.
3 Allegheny
1 Carbon
2 Chester
1 Clearfield
1 Delaware
2 Elk
1 Erie
1 Forest
2 Huntingdon
1 Indiana
1 Lawrence
1 Lehigh
1 Mercer
1 Mifflin
1 Northumberland
3 Philadelphia
1 Schulkill
1 Washington
2 Westmoreland
The funny thing is that abt half of the
PA QSOs were with stations I didn't have
in the log before...i.e. they hadn't played
in the PA QSO party at all the past 4 years.
Also interesting in that some of those
counties that I worked in the VA party
are not that easy to get some years in the
PA party.
I should make a special mention of W3HDH
and NA2X...not in PA, but certainly involved
with the PA QSO Party. TNX fer the VA QSO
Party contacts.

Mark W4GP
