Tim,
Don't take this wrong, we'd love to have you visit, but trust me, Allegheny
County (Pittsburgh) won't be rare!
On a more serious note, do you know what route(s) you're going to take? To
be honest, as poor a shape as the Turnpike is in, I would not reccomend it.
One thought would be for you to go up to I-80 on the NE Extension, across
I-80 to Pa 28, then take the scenic route into Pittsburgh; or travel further
West and take I-79 down (more construction zones). Return trip would be to
leave Pittsburgh via US Route 30 & take the other scenic route across.
If I end up operating from home, stop by for a cup of coffee. I live just
off Route 88.

Sorry should have beemn more specific...I will be operating from PHI at the
very beginning of PAQP, all CW, probably on 40 meters.
I will be in the mobile class and travel from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh and
back.
I may be able to get some fixed station action going from PHI however. I
have recetnly become friendly with a ham from SNJ who runs the Amateur Radio
Station aboard the Submarine Becuna, which is a museum now and docked on
Penns Landing.
