I've used the 40 ~ 10 model for portable operation as a supplementary 
antenna.  The 40~10 is about 42' long.  We hung it vertically from a tree.  
It played pretty well on 20~10 but seemed less effective on 40 than a full 
sized antenna.  The bandwidth, on 40, was narrow, too, which necessitated 
frequent re-tuning.  It was used in a 2-station M/M and was used on 40 CW, 
plus 20~10 both modes.  The lack of effectiveness was less evident on CW and 
being cross polarized from our 40-80 zepp gave us enough isolation that we 
could operate 40 CW & Phone simultaneously.
