[PaQSO] Antenna recommendations/Bands

Hi Bob,

I would say on a normal PaQP that it is just as you suggested, with the only
differences being between whether 40 or 75 gets the bigger bang. I can
remember years when 40 was long at the beginning of the contest and was
basically useless for Q-rates. That of course made 75 the hot band at the
beginning of the contest.

On the first day of the contest it is not unusual to see rates on 40 and 75
hang around 100 on the meter. That is a true blast!

Where will you be operating portable Bob?

Your 40 meter horizontal loop sounds interesting. Have you used it before?
As I said in an earlier post I used an 80 meter loop for the PaQP and it
played well.

Best Regards,

Bob, N3FR (portable WAR)
