Bob,
With the interconnection of these systems you can get the same spots almost
anywhere. About the only limit is that I only want to see spots originating
within North America. Some will filter these automatically or let you define
filters to do so. I have used a Telnet cluster from Texas (AB5YK I think)
during CQWW and they were pouring in. Lately I have been using FRC's Telnet
cluster for general use but I have not yet tried it in a contest.
I don't think any one is more favorable than another as long as none are
overloaded.
