Under our net control schedule, the 8th call district is in the=20
rotation during the month of May.=A0 If no one from 8th region steps in=20
to take the net, anyone may do the honors by being there at the=20
appointed time.=A0 A head's up email of your willingness to do so is=20
considerate, bt not required.=20

A example script is available as a guide in the files section, but if=20
you call the net it is "your show."=A0 Any NCS has discretion to modify=20
the net content and format to keep things interesting.=A0 We only ask=20
that the net be limited to approximately 30 minutes so that we=20
don't "hog" the frequency.

5330.5 is the primary net frequency and should be used if conditions=20
permit.=A0 However, if the primary frequency is so noisy as to be=20
unuseable, use your own judgement on moving the net to another=20
channel. Please, however, DO NOT use the informal DX window on=20
5403.5, keep this one clear for stations wanting to work Dx.

Moving the entire net to an alternate frequency should be done only=20
as a last resort, as even though there are only five channels to=20
scan, some people will be lost in the shuffle.=A0 If possible leave=20
someone on the primary frequency for a while to periodically announce=20
the net and direct stations to the alternate.=20
