The Mid Atlantic Emergency Net meets on every first and third Wednesday of=20
the month at 2000 hours Eastern time on 5330.5 USB.=A0 All amateurs from any=
where=20
are welcome to check in.

If you would like to volunteer to take a rotation in the Net Control Seat,=20
please send an email to the Moderator and indicate which session you would l=
ike=20
to do.=A0 Volunteer NCS are needed from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 8th call=20
areas to serve in a rotation, but anyone able to establish reliable communic=
ation=20
with the net may be an NCS. You don't have to commit to a regular "slot".=
=A0 You=20
may try NCS duties as a one-time training opportunity.

If a regular NCS cannot make their "sked" we encourage anyone to jump in and=
=20
give it a shot.=A0 A suggested script is in the files section as a guide.=
=A0 But=20
if you step up to the plate, it is "your show" and you may customize the net=
=20
format and content within nrmal bounds of good amateur practice.=A0 We only=20=
ask=20
that the net be kept short to approximately 30 minutes so that we don't "hog=
"=20
the frequency.=A0=20

Please be considerate of fellow operators.=A0 If our primary net frequency i=

in use at net time, a net has no more right to use than anyone else.=A0 It's=
 OK=20
to ask politely if the users would yield for the net for about 30 minutes, a=
nd=20
please invite them to check in.=A0 Otherwise, just move up the band to a fre=
e=20
channel and the net of the net will find you there.=A0
