[Pactor] re: getting started

Depends on what you want to do.  For keyboard to keyboard QSO's then, yes, I
think there are several modes better and easier to use.  If you need to get
error free communications or files transferred, if you want to travel around
in your RV and pick up email over HF, things of that sort then you are
almost forced to (a version of) Pactor.

And Tom is correct about MixW2 only listens to Pactor.  I never had a reason
to  try transmitting, but it doesn't.
