Hello Frank,

Unfortunately Pactor became the bad boy because of its
wide signals. I loved using Pactor but found ,like
yourself, there was nobody around to chat.

The big movement has been into PSK31 and other narrow
band modes. Type PSK 31 into Google and you will find
it all there. Also new is Echolink. I use neither
