Jay,

Pactor will take over the KAM. In order to do this, you will need a separate 
TNC for the packet side. I have never been able to get WinLInk to work with a 
KAM/KAM+. It works marginally with MSYS. 

I haven't played with making a gateway out of that sort of a setup though. 
Others may have.
