Texas DFW area 144.39, should be usable with just about any Packet or APRS
that I can see. If you r software is APRS vers XXX, now free, use the global
view, set the freq for ARISS and watch the sigs as the space station goes
by. WOW, never thought I would see that when I was young. N5TDE

I don't remember the PK-1. There's a chance its still compatible with
modern packet that hasn't changed since the first change after its
Canadian days. I used a Heathkit early TNC for a long time with adequate
compatibility.

You should be able to monitor packets somewhere between 144.91 and
145.09. In Iowa also 147.555. APRS probably on 144.390. And once they
give up on SuitSat you should be hearing packets on 145.990 and the
space stations UHF down link though some of those may be 9600 baud.
