[Packet] WinPack + scripts

Hi Dave,

You might try using WAITLINE (AEA PK-900)^m or WAITLINE (AEA PK-900) ^m .
The difference in the two being a space before the ^, I'm not sure what the
correct syntax is.
Good luck...

WAITLINE <text> waits for <text> to be received, but it checks the text a
line at a time, so it exits when the <return> on the end of the line
containing <text> is received.

Usually any WAITFOR text will also end with a <Return> because you will
normally be waiting for a prompt of some sort from the other end. However,
there may be times when the text you are waiting for doesn't end with a
<Return>. Therefore you have to put in the <Return> if it is part of WAITFOR
text. You do this by putting in '^M'. The '^' is a shifted '6' on a UK
keyboard.

Hi Darrell,
My problem is when I issue a command like WAITLINE <text> waits for
<text> to be received, but it checks the text a line at a time, so it exits
when the <return> on the end of the line containing <text> is received.

 or
WAITLINE (AEA PK-900) {This is the prompt that the station sends} the script
stops at the command but even after receiving the (AEA PK-900) it still sits
there and waits. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Thanks & 73,
Dave N0EOP
