[Packet] Linux follow up

Ken, I have an MFJ270B. I have tried several programs such as you describe,
but my location hasn't allowed me to prove any of them. They all rely on
running the TNC in KISS mode, and how to do this is explained in the AX25
HOWTO. There was a very informative exchange between myself and someone else
with detailed setting up instructions on this list in Jan and Feb 02.
Archives I have on file are LinPac, lpterm and xcall. One gave a reasonable
terminal in a Konsole. I have bookmarked http://www.qsl.net/pg4i/linux/
"Linux for Ham Radio" as a good starting place.
