[Packet] PK-232

Hi

I have been given an unfinished project in the form of what is reputed
to be a PK-232. I am still awaiting delivery of this, so all I know
about it is that it is suggested to be a completely home-made right down
to the PCB's and is thought to be untested, but appears from the
description to be complete. No documentation is available what so ever.

I am vaguely aware that the PK-232 can be found in various guises, but I
know little or nothing about it. Could some kind person provide me with
some clues as to how to start to work out which version it is likely to
be, what modes it was originally designed for, perhaps a pointer to a
manual of some sort and perhaps a circuit diagram please. In fact any
clues at all would be welcome at this stage.
