This probably isn't the way you'd want to do it, but just thought I would 
mention a little known capability of the AA4RE BBS software. You can 
originate a message to an AA4RE BBS with an attached file. The message can 
be read at the same bbs and the file downloaded, or the message (along with 
the attached file) can be addressed to forward on to another bbs (as long as 
each bbs in the path is using AA4RE software). Check with your sysop before 
you upload that 250K JPEG though.
