[Packet] Soundcard driver problem

I have posted this to a general computer newsgroup as well, but someone here 
may have the answer.

Using the soundcard drivers for Flexnet or AGWPE, the input from the radio to 
the "line input" appears on the speaker output, but doesn't seem to reach 
Windows Sound Recorder or any application, such as AGWPE's modem icon.
Flexnet says that its driver is loaded, and Winpack can find AGWPE.  Where 
should I look?
