Good point Doug,
The PK232 is very picky about minimum voltage levels, try a 12 volt wall
wart
first and see if it refuses to complete its power up diagnostics, the last
three
PK-232MBX all did the same thing until I ran it directly from a small 13.8
vdc powersupply (1 amp). The PK-232 has an internal fuse as well but you can
never be too careful!
Best of luck, they were/are a great multimode box.
