An Excessive Heat Warning... Which Is In Effect From
1400 Local This Afternoon To 1800 Local PDT Friday.
In Addition... An Excessive Heat Watch Is Now In Effect
 From Friday Evening Through Saturday Evening. SEVERE Thunderstorm
activity may occur as the land cools in the evening. Ground all
non-essential antennas and flights when this is occurring.

A Strong Ridge Of High Pressure Will Bring Hot Weather Beginning
Today And Continuing Into The Upcoming Weekend. High Temperatures
Will Be Around 95 Today. Friday And Saturday Will Be The Hottest
Days... With High Temperatures Around 100 In The Willamette Valley
And Near 95 In The Coast Range... Cascade Foothills... And Interior 
Valleys Of Southwest Washington. The Hot Weather Will Likely Continue 
Into Sunday With High Temperatures Remaining In The 90s.

An Excessive Heat Warning Means That A Prolonged Period Of
Dangerously Hot Temperatures Will Occur... Creating A Situation
In Which Heat Related Illness Is Likely. Children... The Elderly
And People With Chronic Ailments Are Usually The First To Suffer From 
The Heat. Drink Plenty Of Fluids... Stay In An Air-Conditioned Room...
