Hello Ray and others,

Yes.  We have everything in place over here to relay MARSgrams to our
deployed service members throughout Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.  We
accept all traffic going to zip codes beginning with 09000 through 09900,
except to zip codes beginning with 095xx.  In clear text:

ZIP    ACCEPT

090*   YES
091*   YES
092*   YES
093*   YES
094*   YES
095*   NO
096*   YES
097*   YES
098*   YES

Our in-region MARS Message Center System (MMCS), callsign AEM1US, functions
as the digital gateway for our region and is linked to AAA3USA (AA3USA) at
Ft. Detrick, MD.  All MARSgrams routed to our region through the MARS
digital network should be uploaded with the format:

ST ZIPCODE @ AEM1US.GE.EU

Example:

ST 09321 @ AEM1US.GE.EU

All MARSgrams must be addressed to a named individual (i.e. SSG JOE SMITH)
or official office (COMMANDER) in the "TO" line of the MARSgram.  MARSgrams
addressed to "Any Service Member" can NOT be accepted at this time in our
region due to DoD restrictions by the Military Postal System (MPS) and also
a lack of a non-MPS outlet for this kind of traffic.  If this changes, I
will make an announcement.

With all the troops deployed over here, we hope that CONUS MARS members in
will be in contact with family and friends and offer them a chance to send
MARSgrams to their loved ones.  We look forward to receiving your traffic.
Are you up to the challenge?

73,
