[Oremem/Idamem] Net contol stations: no experience necessary

To all members:
We have a small core of very hard working members who are doing all the net
control duties. They need some relief.
Also it is nice for members to have a variety of net control operators to
listen to as different people bring different and varied talents to the
nets.
Even if you have no experience as net control or are a new Mars operator you
are invited to be a net control station. We will walk you through the
procedure on the net and I can send you the net preamble to start the nets.
Once you get past the preamble, there will be members on net who can help
you.
This is a one of those things  all of you who are not a net control station
need to experience.
If the need arises for you to operate in a emergency, YOU may be the only
station opening the emergency net for your area.
Acting as a net control now, will give you the confidence and experience you
need during an emergency.
If you can't commit to doing the net all the time please volunteer on a time
available basis and some one will pick up the net when you are not
available.
The nets we need help for are Oregon Nets on
Thursday morning 10 am
Tuesday evening at 5 pm
Friday evening at 5 pm

Thanks in advance for you help. If you know of any Army Mars members that do
not receive e-mail, please pass along a copy of this request.
Also, please don't forget that every amateur operator is a potential recruit
for army mars and even a "budding " yet to be licensed amateur can be
"elmered" toward getting their license and joining Army Mars.
Send me an e-mail listing the net or nets you are volunteering for. You may
volunteer for more than one net.
