Good morning Bob,



            The copy was a little rough this morning so I am following up with an e-mail.



            My new MARS HF transceiver is up and working now and hopefully all the kinks are out of the system except for replacing the old antenna. My new transceiver is a Yaesu Mark V Field which has dual receive. It lets me work the primary frequency while monitoring the alternate frequency. I then can instantly switch between the two.



            In any event, I am putting up my old MARS rig for sale to see if I can get back some of the cost of the new equipment. The description follows.



            Transceiver        

ICOM 746PRO HF and VHF MARS/CAP capable

            SP-20               Speaker

            PS-125             Power Supply

CT-17                Level Converter for digital operations and rig control

            CR-338             High Stability Crystal Unit



            This unit has had the factory upgrade for the 151 diode situation. I also have all the original manuals, etc.



            According to HRO the new cost of this system is $1942.



            I would consider $1400 delivered in Oregon.



            I haven't put this system on the national BBs yet. If I don't hear anything from MARS, I will advertise nationally.
