Hi folks,

I did all the trouble shooting I know how to do.I also sent a query to the
kenwood ts2000 forum I am a member of.
I spoke to AES technicians and to Kenwood tech support. .
The ts2000 forum members say there have been some units where the transistor
feeding the finals is sending out too high a bias current which toasts the
finals.
That makes sense given the symptoms. Kenwood and AES say to box it up and
send it back.
Since it is still under warranty, that's what I did.
It will probably be at least 3 weeks until I am back on the air.
I will keep you posted.
