This message is by of explaining the procedures for filing traffic to the
Oregon Gateway for other destinations, such as the Western Area Gateway
AAA9USA. Included is an example of traffic filed on the Oregon Gateway for
auto-forwarding to a destination other than AAA9USA but going through
AAA9USA. This is an EEI report sent to AAR0NH by email for posting on the
AAA9USA Gateway station. Notice the first line. The "ST" command means
"Send" and is a Winlink 2.9 command line. The "TO" line uses the "Z" code
for "relay to..." and has the complete address for the recipient.

If one spends a moment analyzing the headers for this message, one sees
that, although at first glance it seems complicated, it really is a mere
extension of our usual system of headers for traffic. Nothing could be
easier once one grasps the addresses which must be used for Gateway
operations and these are shown quite clearly in this example.
AAM0TOR is going to schedule a training session for the sending of traffic
over the Gateway system in the future, as soon as the propagation and net
checkins improves. It will consist of explanations of the procedures for
filing traffic on the Gateway and have an ample period for questions and
answers - with the admonition that the only dumb question is the one that
isn't asked ! Looking forward to this training session.
