Greetings All,

                                            VERY IMPORTANT!

The Oregon SMD sent notification that we now have 4 forward area stations; 2
in Afghanistan and 2 in Iraq.  Messages to all APO AP, APO AE and all FPO AP
and FPO AE addresses can once again be processed.  That means we can now get
MARSGRAMS to the troops so if any of you wish to put a notice (usually free
of charge) in your local papers that Oregon Army MARS is handling traffic to
our troops  "over there", please do.

Any traffic given you can be posted (by net voice or digitally, or direct to
the Gateway) on the Oregon Gateway and it will be rushed to Western Area
Gateway and be well on its way.  This is the best news we've had in a long
spell, so please, everyone, get the word out and let's get the traffic to
the troops moving.

We also have the forms for any military unit requesting OCONUS MARS license
IAW AR520.6 and ARMY MARS SOP using the forms forwarded through the
channels. If you know anyone that is "going over there" and would be
interested, give me the word and I'll rush the forms to them.
