Greetings All,

We have the Oregon Gateway station up for testing on KFC with offset. When
we are assigned a frequency it will be up 24/7 for use by all.

We would be most happy if you would use your Pactor system and do a
connection with the Gateway. The call is AT0TOR - Alpha Tango Zero Tango
Oscar Romeo - and when you link up enter the initial "H" (no quotes) for the
command menu; it is two pages long.

You will see that the commands "LL" or "LB" will list the traffic available.
To read any particular traffic, enter "R" and a space followed by the
traffic number and then "enter".

The command "LR" will list all the stations who have linked within the last
24 hours.

If you wish to post some traffic, use the command "ST" space, (the space is
VERY important) enter, and then WAIT for the system to send you "Subject"
whereupon you can enter the callsign of the station you wish to contact, or
AT0TOR if you just wish to post traffic, then the "@" sign and then AT0TOR
as destination. Press enter, and then WAIT for the system to send you the
word "message" or "msg". Then use YOUR system menu control to "send a
file". All the rest is automatic.

When you are ready to exit, please use the command "B" and allow the Gateway
to disconnect from you. It will respond with your call, de AT0TOR, and "SK"
and the link will be broken. Please DO NOT use your system disconnect as
this puts the Gateway into a cycle to attempt to maintain the link and will
continue to do so until it times out.

Thanks all, and please attempt a link-up ASAP. We wish to know the system
works and what geographical areas may have trouble linking.
