Hi all,
Currently AT0TFC is also operating on Clover as well as Pactor I.
Automatic polling and forwarding of traffic to various Army and Air Force
Mars
stations occurs at 35 minutes pass the hour every 3 hours beginning at 1335
Zulu.
So depending on the amount of traffic exchange taking place during these
periods,  AT0TFC may not be readily
available for a HF connection.  Also bear in mind AT0TFC operates on a
scanner and a connect may take as long as 60 seconds.

        A reminder that there is more than 'one way to skin a cat'. For
those without propagation to state or regional digital gateways, you
can send traffic and elect to receive traffic (EEI and MarsGrams).
        Send Denis Puls, AAR0VD WA an email at [email protected]
he is the operator/sysop of the AT0TFC WA RGN 10 digital Gateway
Station. He can then forward incoming Digital Messages for delivery to
your station via email, helpful if you tell him the zip codes of the
cities
around you that you can/will deliver to. Also, when sending out EEI's
(real or Exercise) or Outbound MARSGRAMS, Denis can take the
message through that same email address, and transfer into the system
and relay it to Western Area Gateway and radio recipients for you.
        It is my hope that this will help you (collectively 'you') be
able
to participate more actively during exercises and actual incident times.
I
also remind you that we have been asked to practice EEI reporting, as
many of the recent EEI reports received (Overall) have had significant
errors in them. It has been suggested that each station send at least one
EEI per month (preferably more) in Exercise format as a minimum. I
would suggest selecting an incident from TV or Paper news reports,
(and sadly, there are plenty), about an incident that occurs in your city
and fits the parameters of the various EEI events list (in the new Net
Plan,
as well as Army MARS SOP). Send a Copy to this station of Exercise
and Actual EEI Reports, As well as the Assistant SMD for our state,
(Oregon is Howard Philipson, Idaho is Jay Smith), and the WAMC as a
minimum. In actual EEI Events, also send a copy to DOMS pentagon at
[email protected] and do send actual EEI's via BOTH email and
radio/relay to AT0TFC WA/AAR0VD WA.
        By doing so, when a real emergency occurs near you, or anywhere
in
the state or region, you will be ready to send an EEI, in proper format.
Do
NOT assume that DOMS or this station have already received the data,
as many factors come into play. Yours may be the ONE report that makes
it through. Always treat your message as such. It is a vital component in
an
emergency to have Multiple redundancy for disaster response traffic.
        By doing so, you might receive 20 copies of the same information.
If
all 20 operators sending traffic ASSUMED that "someone else sent it, why
bother", then NONE would be received. This COULD slow down the vital
timing for appropriate response, and could potentially cost someone their
life, property or safety/health.
        Below, AAR0JY OR has provided the HF to Email and Email to HF
formats that Denis has suggested to make it easier to transition your
message.
