Hey amateurs!
TNX AGN y'all for your help with the rules sheet. You can find the
latest update here:
https://sites.google.com/view/hbucs-on-the-air/home/rules pls let me
know if there are any other changes.
I've been getting questions about what folx should do next. You can
find a project to do list on the HOTA project website:
https://sites.google.com/view/hbucs-on-the-air/
Please pick one of the tasks you would like to do and send me a DM and
I'll put your name and call sign on the list. Please also give me an
estimated due date.
If there are any tasks that you believe are missing, please DM me and
I'll be happy to add them to the list.
Everyone, please work your HBCU connections. We want our activations
and QSO party to be as frictionless as possible for HBCUs. In fact, we
want to leave good impressions and perhaps provide a list of
interested future hams (students and faculty). But we can only do that
if we understand the institution's needs. When you send me updates I
share them in the master list of HBCUs on the project website.
I know there is a lot of chaos going on. Like y'all, I've got lots of
personal stuff and health related stuff happening. Needless to say,
the political stuff that going on nationally and internationally is
downright frightening and disheartening.
This project (along with "RF therapy" on 20m FT8 and 40m CW ;) ) helps
me keep my mind in a joyful mode.
