NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave) radio propagation. We look a
propagation through out the day, year, and solar cycle and which bands may
be appropriate during those times. Antenna type and configuration is
essential to successful NVIS operation.

We also take a deeper look at how different antennas perform for NVIS
operation and the optimal way to set them up. While NVIS is often
misunderstood it has been in use for over 100 years in one form or another.

It provides the radio operator with an irreplaceable tool kit to
communicate over any terrain and get the message through without any
additional infrastructure.
