Hello  Marilyn,

On behalf of the OMIK Education Committee, I would like to share a valuable tool that can help you prepare for your amateur radio license exam: HamStudy.org (https://hamstudy.org).

HamStudy.org is an online resource designed specifically for those studying for the Technician, General, and Amateur Extra license exams. It is free to use and offers several features that make learning both effective and convenient:

Practice Tests – You can take sample exams that closely simulate the actual FCC test. This helps you become comfortable with the format and pacing.
Question Pools – The site contains all the official exam questions and answers, organized by topic. You can review questions at your own pace and track your progress.
Flashcards – The flashcard mode allows you to focus on specific areas where you may need extra practice, reinforcing learning through repetition.
Progress Tracking – HamStudy.org tracks which questions you miss most often, helping you identify and strengthen your weaker areas.
Mobile Friendly – You can study on a computer, tablet, or smartphone, making it easy to fit in practice whenever you have time.

We recommend starting with the Technician license section and setting aside short, consistent study sessions several times per week. Many new operators find that 15–30 minutes per day is more effective than trying to study for long periods at once.
